Daystar's Tom Sawyer in 2006. "What A Dog!" he was! Tom was our first hope at the possibility of showing in the AKC ring. Another trait that Tom brought to our budding kennel was perfect health and longevity, and although we have participated in many shows and have several champions we choose to focus on health, temperament and  longevity.  We are very proud to protect the "old fashioned" and original French Bulldog that was inducted into the AKC in 1898. We consider ourselves as preservation breeders and we cling to the original breed standards, we say no to fad colors, fluffies, pinks, hairless and whatever else doesn't fit the ORIGINAL  BREED STANDARD.
